I’m Glenn. I’m 29, I grew up in a small city in the Netherlands, and I’ve been obsessed with creative work for as long as I can remember: film, music, videogames, storytelling, philosophy. The kind of obsession where you watch a scene that hits differently and immediately need to figure out why.
My background is in marketing and creative arts. I spent years learning how to communicate ideas clearly, how messages actually move people, how to take something complicated and make it feel simple. What I didn’t have was a place to put any of it: the opinions, the analysis, the thinking I was doing anyway in my head and in conversations that went on too long.
This site is that place.
I started it because AI changed things for me. Not in a dramatic way. More like a slow realisation that we’re at a genuinely strange moment, and I had been studying and experimenting with it long enough to have something honest to say. Not hype, not doom. Just what it actually is, what it actually does, and what it means for people who make things for a living.
But the site isn’t only about AI. I write about film and music too. Seriously, the way I’d want to read about them. I want to get underneath the work. What decisions made it what it is. Where it earned its ambition and where it fell short. The mechanics behind the feeling.
I’m building this as I go. The posts take time because I’d rather say something worth reading than say something fast. If that sounds like your kind of thing, you’re in the right place.
